Riscosity sells its services to CIOs, CISOs and risk officers of its corporate customers who insist on dealing with vendors who are fully compliant. “Really, it’s a matter of demonstrating maturity by having established security processes and being able to prove it”, said Anirban. “So, it was a priority for us to achieve SOC 2 compliance quickly, without the time-wasters of taking endless screenshots and tracking everything in spreadsheets.”
Riscosity selected Akitra after evaluating alternatives, having been impressed by the Akitra team and by positive recommendations from current Akitra customers.
The implementation went very smoothly. “We were impressed by the nimbleness and responsiveness of Akitra’s support team, who guided us at every step. They were really a good match for our company’s compliance needs.”
Anirban added that he was pleasantly surprised to find out the number of third-party integrations supported by the Akitra platform for monitoring and evidence collection. “We used Akitra for services like AWS and GitHub, but it is reassuring to know that Akitra can support essentially any third-party cloud service we care to use now or in the future.”
Riscosity is now SOC 2 compliant, which has accelerated the sales process with key prospects by helping to build a strong foundation of trust with them.
Riscosity is also looking forward to taking advantage of the multi-framework support provided by Akitra’s platform. As the company grows and expands into new markets, Riscosity will use Akitra’s capabilities to become compliant with other frameworks such as ISO 27001 and those required for selling to government agencies.
